After epinephrine, provide high-flow oxygen and establish large-bore IV access for fluid resuscitation with isotonic crystalloid. Position the client supine or in a position of comfort, not Trendelenburg.
Delay in epinephrine administration increases the risk of refractory shock and airway loss. Do not prioritize antihistamines or corticosteroids over epinephrine in the acute phase.
