학습 자료 둘러보기 →Administer epinephrine 1:1000 0.3–0.5 mg IM into the anterolateral thigh immediately upon recognizing anaphylaxis. This is the only first-line agent that halts mast-cell mediator release and reverses airway edema and shock.
Repeat epinephrine every 5–15 minutes if symptoms persist. Simultaneously, place the patient supine with legs elevated to promote venous return, and administer high-flow oxygen.
Delaying epinephrine to establish IV access, administer antihistamines, or prepare intubation equipment increases mortality. Airway intervention is a backup if epinephrine fails to reduce edema.
