학습 자료 둘러보기 →The most indicative laboratory finding for tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is hyperkalemia. A potassium level of 6.8 mEq/L reflects the massive release of intracellular contents from lysed leukemic cells.
TLS is defined by a classic metabolic triad: hyperkalemia, hyperphosphatemia, and hypocalcemia (secondary to calcium-phosphate precipitation). Hyperuricemia is also common.
Severe hyperkalemia is the primary cause of fatal arrhythmias in TLS. Continuous cardiac monitoring and immediate intervention with calcium gluconate, insulin/glucose, or dialysis are critical.
