학습 자료 둘러보기 →The cornerstone of managing respiratory symptoms in cystic fibrosis is consistent airway clearance. The priority intervention is performing chest physiotherapy (CPT) and postural drainage at least twice daily.
Scheduling sessions before meals is critical. This prevents discomfort from a full stomach, reduces the risk of gastroesophageal reflux, and clears mucus that could trigger coughing or vomiting during eating, thereby supporting nutritional intake.
Do not perform postural drainage immediately after eating. A full stomach increases aspiration risk and limits the effectiveness of gravity-assisted positioning. Hydration and bronchodilators are adjuncts, not replacements, for mechanical mucus clearance.
