36 weeks gestation with severe hypertension (
172/114 mmHg),
4+ proteinuria, severe headache, blurred vision, and right upper quadrant pain. This clinical picture is consistent with
severe preeclampsia, a multisystem disorder characterized by new-onset hypertension and proteinuria (or other end-organ dysfunction) after 20 weeks of gestation
[2][3]. The underlying pathophysiology involves a reduction in utero-placental perfusion leading to placental ischemia and an angiogenic imbalance, which triggers widespread maternal endothelial dysfunction
[2][3]. This endothelial damage results in vasospasm, increased capillary permeability, and reduced perfusion to organs such as the brain, liver, and kidneys. The question asks for the finding most indicative of

Analysis of Assessment Findings
The central nervous system manifestations of severe preeclampsia are the most reliable harbingers of seizure activity.
