Option 1 (Measure head circumference): This is a valuable assessment for tracking hydrocephalus progression over time, but it is not the priority during an acute malfunction episode. Option 2 (Position in semi-Fowler's): Positioning can be a supportive measure to promote venous drainage and slightly lower ICP, but its effect is minimal compared to the mechanical obstruction causing the crisis.
