Because the vessel wall is friable and diseased, it is prone to rupture, which can result in sudden, massive hemoptysis and rapid exsanguination [1,3]. The provided case studies consistently describe this as a potentially fatal vascular complication, even in patients already on antitubercular therapy [2,3].
