Perform continuous neurological checks every 15-30 minutes. Monitor for early signs of rising ICP such as worsening irritability, altered pupillary response, vomiting, or a decline in the Glasgow Coma Scale score. Late signs include Cushing's triad (hypertension, bradycardia, irregular respirations).
