[Theme] Suicide Risk Assessment

If a patient says, "I want to end it all," what is your PRIORITY?

🚨 1. Ask Directly:
"Do you have a plan?"
"What is your plan?"
(Direct questions do NOT increase risk.)

🚨 2. Safety First:
1:1 Observation (One-on-one sitter).
Remove all sharp objects, belts, and cords.

⚠️ Warning Sign:
If a depressed patient suddenly becomes happy and energetic, risk is HIGHEST.
(They may have decided to commit suicide.)
