현재 회사는 개인정보 처리업무를 외부에 위탁하고 있지 않습니다. 향후 위탁 시 관련 법령에 따라 절차를 이행하겠습니다.

회사는 개인정보 보유기간의 경과, 처리목적 달성 등 개인정보가 불필요하게 되었을 때에는 지체없이 해당 개인정보를 파기합니다.

• 거부 권리: 이용자는 위치 권한을 거부할 수 있으며, 이 경우 실습지 직접 선택을 통해 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.

이 개인정보처리방침은 시행일로부터 적용되며, 변경사항은 시행 7일 전부터 공지합니다.

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

• Account Information: Name, nickname, email address, password, mobile phone number, date of birth, university, and year of study.
• AI Prediction Scanner: Learning materials uploaded by the user (PDFs, images, etc.).
• Payment & Subscription Information: We do NOT store your full credit card details. Payment information is collected at the time of transaction depending on the payment method:
  • Credit card: Card number, expiry date, cardholder name (processed via PG/MoR provider)
  • Bank transfer: Bank name, account number, account holder name
  • Mobile phone payment: Mobile phone number, carrier, payment approval number
• Usage Data: Access IP address, cookies, service usage records, access logs, and access country (automatically collected during service use).
• Optional: Consent to receive marketing emails and SMS (including late-night advertisements), collected only upon your explicit consent.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following third-party service providers:

• Domestic Payment Processor: We use TossPayments (Korea) for domestic subscription payments. Information shared: email, payment information, and order information. Retained for 5 years after payment completion.
• Payment Processor (MoR): We use Paddle.com (United Kingdom/Ireland) as our Merchant of Record for global subscriptions. Information shared: email, payment information, order information, and IP address. Your payment data is handled according to Paddle's Privacy Policy. Retained for 5 years after payment completion.
• Academic Administration: Relevant university professors may receive your name, nickname, phone number, email address, university, and year of study for the purpose of academic administration and student support. Retained until membership withdrawal or termination of the school-linked service.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction. In particular, subscription payment data may be transferred to the United Kingdom/Ireland via Paddle.com at the time of payment using an encrypted network. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law:

• Membership information: Retained until withdrawal of membership. If an investigation is ongoing due to violation of applicable laws, until the conclusion of such investigation.
• Records on contracts or withdrawal of offers: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
• Records on payment and supply of goods/services: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
• Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
• Records on labeling and advertising: 6 months (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
• Service access logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
• Books and evidentiary documents for transactions subject to tax law: 5 years (Framework Act on National Taxes)

When personal information is no longer necessary, we will destroy it within 5 days. Electronic files are deleted using a technical method that makes recovery impossible; printed materials are shredded or incinerated.

The Company currently does not outsource any personal information processing tasks to external parties. If entrustment occurs in the future, we will notify users in advance and fulfill the required procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

You have the right to request access to, rectification of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. These rights may be exercised in writing or by email at master@mymerci.kr, and we will respond without delay. Rights may also be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent.

We take the following technical, administrative, and physical measures to protect your personal information:

• Administrative: Minimizing the number of employees who handle personal information, conducting regular training, and establishing an internal management plan.
• Technical: Access rights management, access control systems, encryption, and installation of security programs.

Our "Restaurant Map" feature uses your device's location to find nearby restaurants.
